A FRESH CHAPTER AT MELOSA BORDER POST
On 28 June 2024, the Melosa Border Post, which connects Mozambique to Malawi's Muloza Border Post, reopened its newly built immigration and customs office buildings replacing previous structures that were damaged by cyclone Freddy a year ago. Immigration officers from Muloza border post through there Officer Incharge Mr I.D Mussa, were invited to witness the reopening ceremony, officiated by the secretary of state in the province of Zambezia Mrs Cristina de Jesus Xavier Mafumo, marking a significant milestone in strengthening border cooperation and facilitating trade between the two countries.
